Friday Favorites: Fall Faves

Yay!  We made it to another Friday!  Thank goodness!!  After last week's high temperatures (like 80 and 90 degrees high), we finally had a week where the temps and weather was consistently Fall...even the rain. With that in mind, I FINALLY felt the motivation to share my Friday Fall favorites.  I'm linking up with A Little Bit of Everything, Grace and Love, and Momfessionals to share what I'm digging this week.  Here's hoping you love it.

Summer Recap 2018

Happy Labor Day! What a much needed and well appreciated day off! Know what I did today? NOTHING!!! LOL! Honey, my tired is tired and that’s the truth LOL! With Labor Day comes the unofficial end to summer and I can officially say “It’s a wrap ladies and gentlemen!”

Tomorrow is the first day of school for the kids in our county. Lazy summer days are being replaced with books, papers, and homework. There are school activities and organizational hacks that need to be discovered. Summer is unofficially over. I decided that in addition to our regular Weekend Recap, I’d round out our Summer with a fun trip down memory lane. Hope you enjoy.

1.  End of Summer Bash/Baby A.'s Birthday Party.  It’s not every day you celebrate your first birthday. We decided to combine our annual End of Summer NFL Fantasy draft with baby A.’s birthday party. The kids had a ball with moon bounces. (Truth be told so did the adults). The adults enjoyed drafting their favorite players and building their amazing teams. We had food for days, friends for months, and fun memories for a lifetime. It was the perfect way to end summer.

The moon bounce was the hit of the neighborhood!

Paradise at Paradisus

Hello everyone!

We're back.  FatherWinter and I just had an amazingly awesome trip in the beautiful Dominican Republic.  We spent 8 days and 7 nights celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary and the great things that God has done for us on this journey.  The setting was the beautiful Paradisus Palma Real. Hands down, it was an amazing trip!

We arrived on a Saturday morning and, after receiving our bracelets, were immediately directed to the one of the restaurants to enjoy the buffet while they prepared our room.

The Easter Edition 2015

Yep, we are more than a little late for this post.  Things have been a bit hectic and we'll explain in a follow-on post.  In the mean time, please enjoy our Easter Edition of So Frequently Frazzled.

Year End Review (photo heavy)

Wow…it’s hard to believe I’m about to write this, but today is the last day of 2014.  What a year it has been.

January 2014
When FatherWinter and I started this journey on January 1, 2014, we were a family of three.  Today, on December 31, 2014, we’re a family of four trying to make it legal and permanent.

It’s been a year full of ups and downs for sure.  We started the year with such a low.  We’d received yet another call that a potential match had fallen through.  We were stressed and it was frustrating to say the least.

February 2014
Still, we were able to come together with grins and giggles for Valentine’s Day when this happened….
