100 days to go!

Hello everyone.  Wow,that seems a lot faster than I realized it was going to be.  Today I am 100 days away from my due date.  What a beautiful thing. YAY!!!!!

This pregnancy has been pretty good, but definitely different from when I was expecting baby A.  Baby A. seemed to give me a respite from morning sickness about week 12 or 13 if I remember correctly.  This baby didn't let me feel relief until 16 weeks.  It was horrid.  Now I only seem to get sick if I don't eat as much as I should.

I've been getting Braxton Hicks contractions since right about 20 weeks and those jokers can be uncomfortable.  I have also been dealing with back pain, but I am still looking forward to being a mommy again.

Let's hear it for 100 days.  Who else is about to hit double digits soon?

On our 7th Anniversary...

It's hard to believe that we have been married for 7 years.  I thank God for you as my husband.  I thank Him for every mountain we've climbed, for every valley we've walked, for every prayer we have prayed, and for every new joy we have experienced.  I thank you for being my husband and for every step we have taken together.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Friday Favorites: Our Week At A Glance

Hi everyone!  It's Friday.  More important than that, it's Good Friday.  There is so much importance and power in this day, such remembrance, such humility--knowing that we weren't and aren't worthy at all.  This week I decided to link up with the beautiful ladies from A Little Bit of Everything, Grace and Love, and Momfessionals for Friday Favorites. Here's my Week At A Glance.

Week 23: 10-17 April 2019

Adoption on my mind

Yesterday was Honeybee's 5 year old checkup.  It was also her kindergarten registration checkup.  That checkup would solidify her final piece of medical paperwork before I can sign her up for her first day of kindergarten.  All was going well.  She's gained 4 pounds since last year, which is huge for her.  She is about 4 inches taller as well.  Everything looks healthy and, minus her eczema (which we now have a dermatological referral for), she is the picture of health.  That's why the next course of conversation kind of threw me for a bit of a loop.

Checkup time!

Week 22:  3-10 April 2019

Friday Frazzle: Friday Favorites

Hi everyone!  This week has been something!  Baby A. caught remnants of her father's illness.  That meant soaring fevers, visits to the doctor, multiple visits to the pharmacy after she knocked over the entire bottle of amoxicillin 😭, and finally the joy of seeing her come back to the bouncing and happy baby girl I know she is!  This week also lent itself to some pretty cool favorites.  Since it's been a while since I've done a link up, I thought it would be fun to Link up with Narci from Grace and Love , Ericka from A Little Bit of Everything, and Andrea from Momfessionals.  I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do.

WEEK 20:  20-27 March 2019/ Week 21:  27 March-3 April 2019
Hi everyone!  Apologies for missing last week.  With so many of the family sick and so much running around to be done, it was kind of crazy.  Last week, I reached the half way point in this pregnancy!  Yay!  I took advantage of it by walking with the family at the zoo and then nursing family back to health.  This week, I'm still working on getting baby A. back to 100%, but everything is pretty good to go.

Happy April!

Weekend Recap: Beautiful Weather, Family Time, and the Sickness Persists

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  The weather was just amazing for us this past weekend and after the cold temps that picked at us while visiting the zoo, I was here for it!  Unfortunately, while the weather was beautiful, we were still plagued by persistent sickness. Baby A. has had a fever that keeps returning.  We know from her appointment that it is a virus that must run its course, but...ugh.  Still, there were plenty of highlights and we were able to have some cool family memories together.
